A good moisturiser is a staple in anyone’s skincare stash and routine, and so we thought it about time that we properly introduced you to the Peachy Fox Collagen Retinol Moisturiser!
This moisturiser, featuring natural and organic ingredients, is formulated with shea butter, chamomile, aloe vera, green tea, rosehip oil and coconut oil; all of which offer soothing and nourishing properties that help to impart a bit of radiance to the skin. The addition of marine collagen, vitamins A and E, hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil also work to diminish any signs of aging and help to slow the aging process as they boost collagen production and hydration levels.
So, how can you incorporate this potent anti-ageing day cream in to your skincare routine? You can use this as a part of both your morning and evening skincare routine, as although it’s intensely hydrating, it’s not overly rich or greasy and so doesn’t take too long to absorb; making it great for using underneath makeup, too! Moisturiser is typically the last stage of your skincare routine as it helps to seal in all of your other products, so we’d recommend applying this after cleansing, and after applying your eye cream, serums and oils. A 20p/nickel-size amount is all you’ll need, but do remember to apply your moisturiser down to your neck and décolletage, too.
I’ve been trialing this moisturiser for a couple of weeks now, and have a few thoughts on it! I think this is a universally loveable moisturiser; it’s hydrating enough for drier skin, but I think it would also work well for those with an oilier skin, as it doesn’t bear resemblance to those traditional creams that are really rich, greasy, take a good few hours to properly absorb and leave a film on top of the skin. I found that my skin looked softer and plumper in the mornings after having used this in the evenings before, and I also loved that my makeup applied really nicely over the top of it, too. I also love that while most retinol moisturisers on the market tend to be formulated with a lot of chemicals and harmful preservatives, this solely relies on the power of plants and so is free of any nasties. And, as ever, the ingredients list is nutrient-rich, free of any sulphates, dyes, parabens and is cruelty-free; all of which can only be good things!
